SURF DAD was founded by Huntington Beach surfer Brian "Patch" Klein and father to an 11-year-old new surfer, Dylan. Through his years of doing youth sports with his son he realized that Baseball Dads and Soccer Moms have always been well represented, but the SURF DAD and the multiple characters involved with the SURF DAD lifestyle had been largely neglected, so he created SURF DAD. We are serious about the love for surfing, family, having fun, and celebrating the uniqueness of the surfing lifestyle while also being not too serious not to laugh at ourselves and some of the divisions of the SURF DAD!
